Pending Home Sales Index Drops 7.6% In January But Up 12.3% From A Year Ago

The Pending Home Sales Index Fell 7.6% in January 2010.  However, The Pending Home Sales Index is up nearly 12.3% from a year ago.  Keep in mind that the Pending Home Sales Index is based on contracts signed in January 2010.

Regional Index Results For January

Northeast Down 8.7%

Midwest Down 8.9%

South Down 2.1% Keep in mind this is the biggest region and Virginia is included in this section.

West Down 13.2%
